These are some pictures I decided, to use as wallpaper. They make pretty interesting Desktop Backgrounds, and are quite unigue. To those who are not familiar with how to do it, heres how. Left click the picture to view it. Then left click the picture again, to make sure its at its full size. To Set as your background, right click, and save as Desktop background. To save the picture to you pictures on your computer, just choose the option (save picture as) Remember to make sure the picture is fully enlarged, or it wont be the suitable size for your desktop. I just have a few sizes to choose from, but plan to add more.
I have added, a border to some that were not full size, so it will be centered on your screen. I use the border, to have a place to stick my Icons, and get them out of the picture, LOL.
The pictures that are large, can be set as wallpaper on just abount any size screen. Windows will resize it automatically, when you choose the option set as desktop background.
This one is a little smaller than 800 X 600, but will work ok, if you choose it. It is a picture, taken of the South end of, Norfolk Southern, Track One Rip Track, at Inman Yards Georgia.
This was taken at the Inman Yard 50 Year aniversary. It makes an excellant background.
The color of this border was taken directly, from the side of the Locomotive.
This Picture has nothing to do with the Railroad, but it makes a nice wallpaper. It is a picture of Lake Washington, in Melbourne Florida.
Southbound Trailer Train, passing South Yard Atlanta. I took it one day when. I was working bad order cars in track one. Taken with an old Rca 1000 Camera. I think it was back in 2000.
Im kind of partial to this scene. Its a photo, of the last truck, I drove for the railroad, and was parked behind the depot at Griffin Ga. I think Carman Ellington refered to it as (Big Bird), so thats what I called it as well. I had a lot of fine trucks over the years, but this old clunker, wasn't one of the best. We inherited it from somewhere in Ohio, or Indianna.
All I know is, it happened on CSXT 4/22/06 in Chilllicothe, Oh.
This is a View of Inman Yards, Ga., looking North fom, on the center of the Marietta Street Bridge. This one is quite awesome, on my wide screen monitor.
This is a view from under the Rip Track Shed, standing near Track One, looking towards the Engine Terminal in the distance. Taken at Norfolk Southerns Inman Yards. I repaired hundreds of cars, under this shed. Particularily in Track One. "Chunky" Douglas and I worked Track One, for a several years. This picture resizes well and makes a good background.
This a view of the front of the Repair Track. Its empty here, but for many years, Cars came rolling out from under this shed in all four tracks, as repaired rolling stock, after having been shoved in from the back side, as Bad Order cars. This Picture does not resize well, due to its odd size. The computer deforms the picture, but I put it on here, for people to see. It would make a good 800 by 600 wallpaper, if you copied and cropped it down to size, but then you wouldnt get the whole place in the picture, so I dont reccomend useing this one..
